TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER: MELTON ROAD, SYSTON

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary
Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.
A temporary parking bay suspension and temporary prohibition of waiting
and loading order was due on Melton Road from 16th July 2018 for 3 days.
Due to unforeseen circumstances the works did not take place.
The suspension will now be enforced on 17th August 2018 for 2 days

Syston Remembers WW1

Syston Town Council has installed a special memorial bench to commemorate the centenary of the ending of WWI. The bench is situated in Central Park, Syston and is positioned facing the War Memorial.

Syston Town Council say that this is one small way in which to create a lasting memorial to over one million Commonwealth service men and women who were killed during the First World War.
