Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.

A temporary road closure is required on Melton Road on Sunday 07th March 2021 for 1 night, 16:00 till 06:00.

The works will be undertaken in 2 Phases as follows: -
Phase 1 – closure between Barkby Road and Wanlip Road.
Phase 2 – closure between Wanlip Road and Barkby Road.

During the works, there will be temporary parking restrictions on The Meadway, The Firs, Wanlip Road, Millers Close, Holmdale Road, Broad Street, Goodes Lane, St Peters
Street, Stanford Road, Wellington Street and Albert Street at their junctions with Melton Road.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety to allow Leicestershire County Council undertake carriageway patching

The proposed alternative diversion routes will be signed on site.
