Help For Residents in the Corona Crisis
John Storer Charnwood is working with Charnwood Borough Council and other organisations to support people in our communities who may be struggling due to the coronavirus pandemic.
If you are a resident of Charnwood, sharing a concern about a Charnwood resident, or want to help please contact us via email or via the request forms below, wherever possible. If you do need to call us please ring 01509 631750 (Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.30pm).
Please note that if you have received a letter from the NHS which identifies you as someone at risk and you do not have family or a support network to help you get food and medicine please go to
Please be aware that Community Action Charnwood has a list of all the local contacts and groups in Syston who are helping and also is co-ordinating people who want to register as volunteers etc .

University of the third age in Syston is co-ordinating action among its members .
I am also aware that food banks are being run through the Hub Café and the various churches .
